McDonald`s Restaurant in Sussex

I like the new menu options (winter 2020) but I wish the self checkouts where faster.

Absolutely horrible service, staff was rude, it took way too long to get the food. Not a great experience at all. Manager wss too busy checking the temperature of food instead of watching the quality of the service. It wasn't too busy and they had enough staff it would just poorly run. Doesn't look good on management

Too expensive for fast food. People were complaining. Go to a real restaurant.

Only a couple of quick coffee stops to the Sussex locaton, the service was quick and friendly.

Pretty good for a small town fast food place they don't always have everything that is advertised

Normally my rating would be higher however, I worked the day before and that night until 5 am, had z flat tire so a really nice person at the main Canada Post Building in Saint John let me use her tire pump. I called to see when they opened (I thought drive thru was 24/7 but they weren't oping until 6 am. I was there 5 mins early and no way could they serve me a coffee after cleaning and disinfecting everything. All I wanted was a simple coffee with Milk. It was very disappointing.

Alright sum of the time threw drive threw,but generally they mess it up,inside to order is ridiculous,one cash,expect waiting a long time if there busy.

Fast & Friendly Service... no complaints except it is interesting to see the different items on the menu... (from Australian Menu) Also, I was surprised to see that with McCafe selection, there is no option to purchase a Latte with Soy Milk 🥛😢 maybe it’s not a thing here in NB?Located straight across from our hotel (Amsterdam Inn) which was a bonus.

Really require better middle and upper management.

Took 10 minutes for them to bring a Quarter Pounder out to my car....I thought they had forgotten me. No apology or explanation, either.

Generally fantastic, although my last order was given to me in parts, made wrong and tonight I had a foot long wavy gray hair in my junior chicken. 60$ order, 100% disappointment.

Terrible, meal was greasy, no serviettes offered, overcharged for coffee, staff incompetent.

Fast and friendly service with a smile only ate ice cream

This location is amazing when it comes to service. Arrived with a bus of cadets and they had us processed and eating quickly and efficiently.

This is the closest McDonald's to me so I visit often to get coffee. There are at least 2 employees (at least 1 part of management) that purposely put cream in my coffee knowing I can't drink it; it makes me sick. I have to have milk. I've taken them back and had them argue not only to me saying it was milk but other customers witnessed this. I showed the customer behind me and he even said it was cream. Which btw he was returning something as well. This McDonald's needs to either provide more customer service training or let go the "bad weeds"

The service was pathetic. Had to wait almost 15 minutes for a burger and coffee. The person on counter was standing around instead of getting the orders. I was extremely disappointed.

I'm usually not a fan of McDonald's, but these employees were really enjoying the evening and it showed in every way. Service was great and the food tasted better than I remember McDonald's ever tasting. Five star visit!

Service is really slow. The self order machine seems to mess up a fair bit. Long waits in-between. More than most restaurants who are just as busy.

Always great service at this location. Definitely a favorite of the family.

It was fast and good

Not one to go on a place like this and complain but went there on my lunch break from work today and ordered some food....they missed ringing in an item...not a big deal...spoke up and she rang it in..great, but then I didn't even get the item that I paid for after having to make sure it was rang in, had a poutine and the gravy was repulsive and thick like jam, I had a wrap and the chicken in it looks like someone cut it in half because 1 it was so small and 2, looked like it was cut in half, I didn't get a straw and there was something yellow and sticky all through my bag that I got all over my hands. Update, I was also sick after work coming home.

The food was good and I really love it especially the ice cream and the smoothies

Staff is always pleasant, coffee could be a little stronger.

There's not a lot to say about this fast food chain. Sometimes you don't get what you ordered, but the kiosk machines have corrected that since you are able to see your order. My husband and I each had a Big Mac meal. His burger was well put together; mine was messy and the burger was very dry. The rest of the meal was satisfactory.

Such a great restaurant. Friendly staff, great food and amazing prices. We really enjoyed our time here.

Today was an awful experience

Normally I would rate my experiences here with the people and food very well. However, I just bought a salad. I remember McDonalds having very good salads, so I was hoping for something good. My Lettuce and greens had an incredible amount of brown. And wilting. Substantial. The grilled chicken was dried out. I believe I was given the wrong dressing (ordered Greek, got Cesar dressing?) considering the price of their salads and that it's supposed to be "made fresh", I certainly expected better.I also asked for a kid's size cone (small is too big, I don't eat much dairy), and they won't let you order one unless a kid is in the vehicle they said. (?)

I asked for a coffee and fresh fries and I speciallly said fresh fries three times. The coffee was good but the fresh were soft and definitely not fresh. Very disappointed.

Consistent service most times but have been known to forget items in the bag. Drove thru this evening to get supper for the wife and I, after having to wait for nuggets, got home disappointed to find they'd forgotten a burger.
